It's May... The bees are out in the fields, the apple blossoms are just coming out, the grass is green again... The koï fish have thawed, the kids are outside & the renovations are pretty much finished.
I've got 3 batches of mead brewing and some wine aging in a cask.

I'm currently working on Carmen Campagne's next CD.
Here she is with some kids from the Collège St-Bernard, who wrote the lyrics to one of the songs on her upcoming CD. François Yvon, the school's director is also in the photo with Carmen.

July Gaudet was here in February!!

She's working on her next CD. We're having a great time just being creative... one song at a time!

I've been accepted in a seminar with none other than Tchad Blake.
He's worked with just about everyone from Peter Gabriel to Suzanne Vega, Crowded House to Latin Playboys... I've been a fan forever. We modeled our Daniel Audio Labs nearfield monitors with quite a bit of Tchad's work.

Europe

Currently in Europe. I was doing a show in Paris last week & decided to visit my friend Neil in Wiveliscombe, UK for a few days. I'm now back in London 'til Saturday.

We had a very busy spring & somewhat busy summer. The house\studio is undergoing serious repairs at the moment. Making the space bigger & better!

Studio mur à mur!

Raymond Allard est ici cette semaine pour un mélange de formation et d'enregistrement.

Après presqu'un mois off, Nini revient la semaine prochaine pour continuer la production de son premier CD.

Le CSB débute également les voix du 'Trésor d'ArZyrïll' la semaine prochaine.
Ensuite, y'a au-dessus d'un mois de mixage intensif à faire...

In other news, les abeilles ont super bien passé l'hiver. Les trois ruches sont hallucinantes... Le boss est content.

CSB

Nous préparons activement un livre/CD avec les élèves du primaire du Collège St-Bernard.
Le livre, entièrement écrit par les jeunes et leurs profs, sera accompagné d'images dessinées par ces derniers.
Ils vont aussi chanter le fruit de leur travail sur des musiques de Michelle et moi. Début de la production en studio à la mi-mars.

Annie Girard

La comédienne Annie Girard est chez Dogger Pond depuis la mi-janvier. Elle enregistre son premier CD avec moi à la réalisation. Gilles Tessier est du projet comme arrangeur/musicien. C'est un plaisir de travailler avec ces deux là... et quel projet!!

Un extrait serait posté quand le tout sera fini... en avril ou mai.
